Reverend Kelii Brown was born in lush and beautiful Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii and raised on theLeeward Coast of Oahu. He grew up not only learning and understanding, but more so appreciating,Hawaiian culture, traditions and customs. He revels in the opportunity to officiate weddings on his chosen island home of Maui and has marriedcouples from all across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Australia and Japan.
“There is areason why people choose a Hawaii wedding and specifically to have their wedding in Maui,” Rev. Kelii states. “Yes, our islandprovides a spectacular backdrop and first-class romance services, but I believe Hawaii’s world renownaloha is what draws couples here for their special day.” And that is exactly what will draw you to this fun loving, warm and truly educated Hawaiian minister who enjoys sharing his own very spirit of hookipa(welcome) and aloha with malihini (visitors) and kamaaina (residents) alike.
A wedding in Hawaii is like no other. There are myriad options for couples to choose from -- intimate beach weddings in Maui for two at sunrise or sunset to luxurious celebrations for 200 at any of our finest hotels and resorts. Many of these resorts offer a Hawaiian wedding and Maui wedding packages that run the gamut from affordable to truly opulent.
His specialty, and favorite, is his Hawaiian Wedding ceremony (though he performsall types). He brings the traditions of his beloved culture to everyceremony as taught to him by his “kupuna wahine” or grandmother. “I trulystrive to provide couples with a true ‘sense of place’ and share a bit of realHawaii with them.” Rev. Kelii looks forward to making your day as specialas you want and as you deserve.
